Installing the package "libldap2" manually solves the issue for me.
Do you mean libldap2 Yes. In the first message I showed my erroneous attempt to use the 32bit lib, which obviously fails. The correct libldap2 works. or do you mean libldap2-32bit as in your original report? (For me, trying to uninstall libldap2 results in zypper trying to uninstall hundreds of dependent packages, including x2goclient and zypper itself.) Same for me. As it works now and there were no changes since then, this results in one short assumption: There was an error in the ldap package, not x2goclient, which has been solved since then. x2goclient requires libldap.so.2()(64bit). Maybe that wasn't properly provided by the libldap2 package at that point in time. I must have been unlucky. There's definitely no issue with the x2goclient package.
