The point is, that if the packages would 'correctly' indicate which languages they support, it would work out of the box. Even if 'no-recommends' is used.

I.e. if you change the locale settings in YAST (or with zypper addlocale / removelocale), the package set would be adapted accordingly.

The Xfce lang packages in both Leap and TW are generated in the rpm spec file via the %lang_package macro.

As shown above, in TW I see the 'locale()' provides, in Leap not. If this is not intended and actually the same spec files are used, it may be a OBS issue as well.

No it is not intentional, and because a regular Leap Xfce installs all lang packages by default, it is possible that this behavior change has been overlooked. Unfortunately I am not sure how to address this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
