When activating ecb from xemacs via M-x ecb-activate xemacs crashes. 'xemacs --version' yields the following output:

XEmacs 21.5 (beta27) "fiddleheads" (+CVS-20060704) [Lucid] (i386-suse-linux, Mule) of Mon Nov 27 2006 on dale

The crash should not depend on user specific options in ~/.xemacs as it also happens when the ~/.xemacs directory does not exist. The current locale is de_DE.UTF-8 - the lisp backtrace mentions something about "Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion"

The locale doesn't seem to matter.

I am already using
