Please always start a new partition on a sector which is 512KB aligned, so that it fits every RAID stripe alignment. Therefore, let the partition before be sized to a 512KB-1 sector. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. let installer make partition with LVM 2. 2nd partition not well aligned 3. Actual Results: Big performance penalty as everything from the 2nd partition is not aligned to a RAID stripe set.
