Today I dared to update the display manager to the version “LightDM 1.20.0-1.1”. Unfortunately, I observed that the corresponding graphical login did not work as expected. The information “exist status: 1” was recorded in the systemd journal.

From what version was the update? 1.20.0 is a no change bump 1.19.5.
I can't reproduce the bug, I really need more than that.

The previous version did work also on my system for some months.
I have got difficulties still around data processing steps for the “LightDM 1.20.0-1.1 greeter”.
* An information like “exit status: 1” in the journal was the only direct hint for an unwanted failure. Do the exit reasons need another look for this program?
* Do you see further surprises from other recent version combinations?

I find that the previous versions do not really matter any more for me with this software component at the moment. Can it be also tested further from within my running XFCE session anyhow?
