Thanks for packaging up calibre!
I tried converting a comic book archive and the program printed a backtrace due to missing libunrar as a dependency. You may want to patch out rar support since libunrar is nonfree.
OSError: libunrar.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Thanks, Brandon

--- Comment #1 from Thomas Schraitle thomas.schraitle@novell.com 2009-06-17 01:25:08 MDT --- Hi Michael,
I put you in CC and info provider as you are the maintainer of the unrar package. :-)
As Brandon put out, it would be very useful, if Calibre could use the libunrar library. After some research, I found out the unrar package contains already the source code of this library. The package is on our distribution, so license-wise it seems no problem---however, the library is not available as a separate package. It is directly linked into the unrar utility.
Is it possible to enhance your SPEC file so it could generate the respective libunrar library package?
Thanks!
