Hmm, I cannot reproduce this on my laptop (latest TW using an Inter integrated
graphic)

Could you provide the output of:
> sudo lspci -v | grep -i vga
> sudo lsmod | grep "kms\|drm"

Meanwhile I will keep following the status of upstream.
