The NM reports that the bandwith for my WLAN connection is 62 mbps. It seems to be wrong. Iwconfig output eth1 IEEE 802.11b/g ESSID:"FABIAN_SL_LOCAL" Nickname:"zd1211" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: 00:C0:CA:18:4B:01 Bit Rate=24 Mb/s Link Quality=85/100 Signal level=19/100 Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 But the wrong information is placed only in a popup box which appears when I stay with the cursor on the name of the wifi network.
