open-vm-tools cannot correctly identify available screen resolutions when running Gnome under Wayland. Also, it can not dynamically switch the screen-resolution to fit the window-size. Under Gnome+Xorg the list of available screen-resolutions and the dynamic switching of screen-resolution works correctly. Affected versions: All Tumbleweed releases from the past ~6 months I have been using it. Leap, preview 1. Fedora 22 is also affected by this same bug. I���m using VMWare Fusion 7.X and 8.
