https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=397071 Summary: Can't Adjust Resolution - Packages Missing Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: arthur@bluecollarcomp.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I used the Live CD installer to install on my desktop and on first load I noticed my resolution was not correct for the Viewsonic VA1912wb. Down by the clock I clicked on the "Display Information" dock icon and selected "Configure Display Settings". After this it asked for the admin password and then a "Package Installation" window comes up and says "Some packages are missing. Install the missing packages now?" I then click yes and it flashes some SaX2 status bars and disappears. Nothing gets added package wise and the process repeats if I try to change resolution again. Shouldn't the necessary packages be installed on the main install? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
