Could you please install the following debuginfo packages and re-run the
application under GDB? This way we would have more info available in the
backtrace.

$> zypper in libgobject-2_0-0-debuginfo libgio-2_0-0-debuginfo
libglib-2_0-0-debuginfo glibc-debuginfo

Unfortunately, I don't have the chance to start the application either because
I have an other bug (which I've already reported to the maintainers).
