Ah, I see... learned new things... Thx a lot!

Unfortunately the test version 132.0-lp156.7.1.x86_64 has the issue again to
me:
(embedded PDF or MP4 is working, download manager of PDF/MP4/ISO = no reaction)

  * Wayland/X11
  * Gnome/Classic 45.3 (xdg-desktop-portal-gnome - 45.1-150600.1.3)
  * IceWM (1.4.2-150000.7.15.1)
