By default, journald logs debug level info in /var/log/messages. This results
in excessive logging which in the long run is harmful to SSD's
The default logging level for journald needs to be MaxLevelSyslog=warning in
/etc/systemd/journald.conf
with the current setting my /var/log messages fills up with useless drivel like
this once each minute
