Here, in yast2-ruby-bindings, we focus on the "publish" calls which make the
Ruby methods available for the YCP type system (and through that, the parts
written in Perl: yast2-users in particular)

The helper data structures initialized by "publish" and later used by
Yast.import are simplified from nested hashes to lists of pairs.
