Seeing that
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?test=kde-live_installation&flavor=KDE-Live&arch=x86_64&machine=64bit&version=Tumbleweed&distri=opensuse
is in passed state, I think this issue vanished with any of the updates merged
into openSUSE Tumbleweed since.
