In the .vbox file of that VM those folders are listed like this:

<SharedFolder name="work_src" hostPath="/work/src" writable="true"
autoMount="false"/>
<SharedFolder name="work_tmp" hostPath="/work/tmp" writable="true"
autoMount="false"/>

(exactly the same as in the Leap 15.1 VM where it's working fine)
