My touchpad works perfectly, but on this computer it's placed in such a way that I'm constantly brushing it with my palms while typing, causing all sorts of havoc and frustration. In the past, the KDE system settings module was able to configure a "turn off the touchpad when typing" feature. I have attempted this and it does not appear to be working. To clarify, the module loads and provides a wonderfully rich interface for configuring my touchpad, but despite the UI indicating that it should be working and is enabled, it doesn't actually seem to work.
