While this fixes the problem for the user running X on the computer that is being ssh'ed into, the ssh -X user cannot run an X program: qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found. So, good luck on this one (the fact that I am the only one who has noticed the bug is a bit unsettling, but it is the Holiday season).
