Hi Guys,

the last two TW Updates were a total disaster.

The first one made my system unusable. I use two monitors and no matter how I
often tried to adjust the KDE settings, but after each restart, I got always
different desktop configuration. Krunner crashed constantly, I got an error
message after another. I downloaded a completely new TW DVD and installed with
default settings. No additional Repos. KDE Plasma as default and Gnome as
fallback.
I was able to start KDE Plasma, but again with the error message from Krunner
crash. The taskbar jumps each time from left to right screen. Next start again
from the right to the left screen. I clicked on the application menu and the
menu opens at the another monitor. This KDE version is a disaster.

After I started an TW update and are suddenly all GTK2 and gtk3 icons away!

I thought, ok, you can not work with Plasma, then I'll go to GNOME. Gnome can
not be started. After logging in, I get the logon screen with a few windows
from the last app, but no desktop and no menu. After each TW update the
language settings of German are switched to English again. Every time I have to
change the language. I'm afraid of updates! Every time something is not
working.

Debian runs well without errors. I have tested the hardware, again without
errors. I'm a big fan of OpenSuse. But after I now had to reinstalled 4 times
my computer this year, I slowly get doubts about TW. I am very patient, but TW
still has the factory status and is not a system for daily use. I can work with
either plasma or with Gnome, although I have installed everything fresh
directly from the new TW-DVD, without changes to the default settings. This TW
version is a nightmare, my production system has now been wrecked twice.
This version has so many errors that I do not know how many bugs should I
report and where. I hope some things will change in the future. TW is a great
idea, but it fails to reality. A system should be up to date but it is worth
nothing if you can not work with it.

All say Linux is more stable than Windows, I can not confirm that! For desktop
use, Linux feels like the early Windows95. It crashes constantly. KDE Plasma
has improved the features and modern user interface, but it is absolutely
unstable.
