After upgrading to Gnome 3.26, gnome-shell and Firefox started to crash together. Steps : 1. Browse for a while with Firefox 2. With no apparent reason, gnome-shell crashes and reload itself 3. Firefox current tab gets empty and the browser also fails to display any other or new tab. 4. Firefox needs to be closed or killed to go back to normal. This crash happens quite frequently, at least a handful of times a day. Here is the backtrace I could get so far : (gdb) bt #0 0x00007f7dfc52c811 in () at /usr/lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #1 0x00007f7dfc52d84c in g_log_default_handler () at /usr/lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #2 0x0000558c1d5fa995 in () #3 0x00007f7dfc52dadd in g_logv () at /usr/lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #4 0x00007f7dfc52dc4f in g_log () at /usr/lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #5 0x00007f7dfb4e73d0 in () at /usr/lib64/libgjs.so.0 #6 0x00007f7df3d67df4 in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #7 0x00007f7df3d68846 in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #8 0x00007f7df3d68c22 in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #9 0x00007f7df3d6996c in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #10 0x00007f7df3d742bd in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #11 0x00007f7df3d7509c in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #12 0x00007f7df3d7bfbb in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #13 0x00007f7df3d7cdeb in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #14 0x00007f7df3d7d257 in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #15 0x00007f7df3d7d4f8 in () at /usr/lib64/libmozjs-52.so #16 0x00007f7dfb4f33ae in () at /usr/lib64/libgjs.so.0 #17 0x00007f7dfc8066d3 in g_object_unref () at /usr/lib64/libgobject-2.0.so.0 #18 0x0000558c1d5fa4eb in () #19 0x00007f7dfa3def1a in __libc_start_main () at /lib64/libc.so.6 #20 0x0000558c1d5fa5da in () Let me know what I can do to help further.
