FYI, the problem was that 13.2 shipped with a too old libindi for the included kstars version, so the support in kstars was silently disabled as a result. (kstars tends to always need the very latest libindi...) Later openSUSE (Leap) versions did/do come with newer libindi of course, and a kstars with libindi support. Btw, you can always get the latest kstars and libindi from the KDE:Extra repository.
