With a fresh Leap 42.1 installation, zypper in puppet results in: Problem: nothing provides /sbin/runscript needed by ruby2.1-rubygem-puppet-3.8.2-1.9.x84_64 Solution 1: do not ask to install a solvable providing puppet Solution 2: break ruby2.1-rubygem-puppet-3.8.2-1.9 by ignoring some of its dependencies For the record, on TW ruby2.2-rubygem-puppet does not have the same requirement.
