Dragging mouse cursor is a weird position

For almost every PDF document I'm opening in evince, some time after working
with it I'm discovering that the click areas for the mouse for all the control
elements are shifted to the left with regard to the displayed elements on the
screen. For example, to resize the window by moving the right border of the
window to the left, I have to drag not while the mouse cursor is on the border,
but when the mouse cursor is approximately 1 cm to the left of the border. A
screenshot is attached which shows the cursor in its dragging form to the left
of the right border.

This shift of control areas does not happen immediately, but only after some
time. I could not yet figure out when exactly.

Please repair.
