I could not reproduce the problem on x86_64 with my r8169 card. I am just
installing 10.3 RC1 on an 386 and will try there tomorrow.
One thing I noticed: for some reason, the i386 kernel has the experimental NAPI
enabled for r8169. x86_64 does not. I tried on x86_64 with and without NAPI,
but it worked in both cases. Still, I will try to reproduce this with and
without NAPI on i386 as well, as I think the bug might be there.
m.bracher: can you please attach the output of the hwinfo command?
Also, the i386 -debug kernel has NAPI disabled. If you could try with that
version (download e.g. from here:
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/i5...
), that could help.
I have no idea why we have NAPI enabled for this driver in i386 and why it is
disabled in the -debug kernel though.
