This bug is present since 42.1 but I never filed it because I hope it would solve upstream. Open one user, then go to change user, open a new user. The desktop loads but as soon akonadi charges the whole machine freezes so hard that you need a cold reboot. This makes the install to all effect forcibly a "mono user system". I join the output of journalctl (excerpt of the event - which can be repeated any time) as attachment.
