Thanks a lot for giving some thought to this important issue.

It seems to me that the recommends system isn't the appropriate tool to install
language packages. But at any rate it seems it would require some kind of
regular expression search to install all of the *-lang packages for installed
packages that have them, with certain exceptions for things like LibreOffice
and Mozilla apps.

And I agree that it is important to have a YAST option for doing this from the
command line (ncurses interface) or the GUI.
