This bug is still present in the 2.06-33.1 version.

As can be seen in the source package, the upstream version is HEAVILY patched,
so installing upstream 2.11 version into the openSUSE ecosystem doesn't seem a
trivial task.

Is there at least a roadmap for grub 2.11 in openSUSE?
