The keymap `de-e1` does not map the F key of a German keyboard to lowercase f. I am assuming here that the keymap with identifier `de-e1` corresponds to the [E1 German keyboard layout][1], so hitting the F key should produce f. I tried a few other keys and they work as expected, for example AltGr+^ for multiplication cross (). To reproduce, use a Tumbleweed minimal VM and set the keymap with ``` localectl set-keymap de-e1 ``` Then type `ASDFG asdfg` into the prompt. The virtual console should show `ASDFG asdfg`, but instead it shows `ASDFG asdg`. [1]: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Deutsche_Tastaturbelegung_E1_nach_E_DIN_2137-01--2020-11.png
