+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #967203 +++ Originally reported by Donald Curtis (CC'd): Leap 42.1 GRUB2 update to 2.02~beta2 (Build Date : Tuesday 29 December 2015 10:31:55 CET). RC_LANG = de_DE.UTF-8 RC_LC_CTYPE="de_DE.UTF-8" (All RC_LC_??? definitions are de_DE.UTF-8 except RC_LC_ALL="") After the update the boot screen was displaying English language text. Rewrote /boot/grub2/grub.cfg with YaST and the German language boot screen returned. The same issue occurs with kernel updates.
