When I start my TumbleWeed system in graphical mode, but later I shutdown X.org running on tty7, and the I try to switch to tty7 using ctrl+alt+F7, then the system becomes totally unresponsive. It doesn't even detect Num Lock. I have to reset it. But when I start the system in multi user (non graphical) mode, then I can change to the unoccupied tty7, then the system doesn't freeze.
