Yes, if it is on the menu there is no problem. You don't even have to drag/drop. Just right click and choose where you want it. That is very nice, by the way!! Wow, that's archaic! "But wait, there's more....now you have to place a quicklaunch on the desktop first and THEN you can create a shortcut in that." We need to get KDE back to where we can create a launcher on the desktop or Windows users are just simply not going to be interested in something so difficult to use.
