Comment # 1 on bug 1095245 from Bit Juggler

Here some additional information:

On the same machine openSUSE Leap 42.3 (KDE, bumblebee) is installed an works
just fine.

On the same machine openSUSE Leap 15.0 BETA (see
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1089116) was installed with some
problems but it finally sort of worked.

Chapter 4.1 of the Release Notes says one should boot the installer with
"nouveau.modeset=1". That does not work either. The boot process gets stuck
after hardware detection.
