even with the file from the ftp server pin is not working, because pin extects
the file to be named /var/lib/pin/ARCHIVES_$major.$minor.gz... and it gets the
values for $major and $minor from /etc/SuSE-release which seems to have been
deprecated now.

I have a fixed pin script that uses os-release if there is no SuSE-release
file, how do i go about submitting it as patch?
