Thank you, the hwinfo reports these mouse device names used by the touchpad:

 /dev/input/mice, /dev/input/mouse0, /dev/input/event8,
/dev/input/by-path/platform-80860F41:00-event-mouse,
/dev/input/by-path/platform-80860F41:00-mouse

Could check whether these devices are available during installation? (Switch to
another console or use Ctrl+Shift+Alt+X to open a terminal window in GUI
installer.)

And please attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log after starting the installer.
