I am not at all a USB expert so I cannot debug lower level USB issues. I think lower level USB issues belong to the Bugzilla component "kernel". There is nothing what I can do when a printer is not accessible cf. https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Installing_a_Printer Therein see in particular the parts about the "so called 'quirks' for particular USB printers". Perhaps your printer may also need such 'quirks'?
