fwiw, rather than changing Severity/Priority, a comment --

this has escalated into a CustSvc nightmare, generating hundreds of
contacts/inquiries -- ironically, after training users to never blindly accept
such notices/upgrades, they are doing exactly what they've been asked to do. 

a trivial issue, with a mounting $cost.

We're temporarily resolving it by imposing a global ban of zypper actions until
we get this calmed down.

It's entirely possible that we've a globally-consitent misconfiguration
somewhere, but, I suspect it's not on our end.

SOME comment would be appreciated -- ideas?
