Please don't get us wrong for insisting on applying our standards here.
Currently the processes for dealing with SLE community packages are not really
established as coolo is still trying to solve a lot of issues. But I assume at
some point fixes needed for the community packages will have to be folded over,
if approved by the project maintainers.
As we have reviewed the changes and didn't find any reasons why they should not
be included in SLE12 we should prepare everything in a way which makes an
inclusion into SLE12 easy and doesn't require us to revisit the issue.

One word about our guidelines:
They are different than what openSUSE does for most projects, this is not we
insist on being different but we had these guidelines long before openSUSE
established its own.
Moreover they are meant to maintain an oversight over a huge number of patches
which we will get in the enterprise product over time. They are mostly derived
from what we do for the kernel at (open)SUSE.
