In the most recent Tumbleweed release, kernel 5.5.13 has several USB related commits. This one is in any case for RTL8153 NIC: https://github.com/openSUSE/kernel/commit/3d456cb5a8c99c0536f2cfb480c5232fa5d10499 I have a WD15 dock with similar issues with also RTL8153 and will test for some time if it still occurs.
