Well, it looks like the reason is, that daemon_directory had been changed from
/usr/lib/postfix to /usr/lib/postfix/bin within the last suse postfix releases.

That breaks with the chef template I am using.

-daemon_directory = /usr/lib/postfix
+daemon_directory = /usr/lib/postfix/bin
