This is solveable for initial installations, correct. This is impossible to
solve on zypper level for later installations, because the only way to make
sure zypper selects the right package is a hint in the package dependencies.
There is no pattern or anything else involved.
Please look at any branding package how to tell the solver how to select the
right sub-package. This supplements is missing for chrony.
