Comment # 2 on bug 901125 from Gerald Pfeifer

At first I thought this was no longer necessary, but apparently it
is, even with kernel 3.17.4-1-default ?

(The reason I thought it was not necessary any more is that I had
commented the line in /etc/modprobe.d/50-cdc_ncm.conf from the original
description as follows:

#options cdc_ncm prefer_mbim=N

Is it possible the kernel still considers this, regardless of the #?


Unfortunately I am not in a position to build my own test kernels.
Any chance you can get me one (for Factory ideally)?
