Thanks for the pointer. In these logs there is no *kernel* error AFAICS. The
i915 and udl drivers load without problems.

This is the X11 crash and still present on the TigerLake system.

Here's my guess: these are two separate issues; one in the kernel and one in
X11. The kernel has been fixed already, but for some reason your installer
doesn't have that fix. The X11 issue is still present.
