I apologize for responding so late to your post. But the approaching end of the
(financial) year kept me busy in the last days.

That you provided a kernel-rpm helped me very much to do the testing. Thank you
very much for this.

Here is what i did:

1.) Download and install Kernel 3.16.6-4-default

2.) Re-boot and log in as "root"

3.) # journalctl>2014-12-02_start.txt (included in attached file
"2014-12-02_Journals.zip")

4.) Plug in USB2.0 bluetooth dapter (0400:080a)

5.) # journalctl>2014-12-02_plugged.txt (included in attached file
"2014-12-02_Journals.zip")

6.) # hciconfig list
    hci0: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB
BD Address: 00:0C:78:30:8F:DA ACL MTU: 339:4 SCO MTU: 60:9

        RX bytes:394 acl:0 sco:0 events:17 errors:0
        TX bytes:56 acl:0 sco:0 commands:15 errors:0

7.) # hciconfig hci0 up
    Can't init device hci0: Invalid argument (22)

8.) # journalctl>2014-12-02_after_hci_up.txt (included in attached file
"2014-12-02_Journals.zip")

8.) # rfkill list
    0: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
    1: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no

10.) # hwinfo --bluetooth
