The script '/usr/sbin/install_acx100_firmware', which is part of the package 'wireless-tools', fails to download firmware files from remote FTP source due to an old URL and remote file name (ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwl520+/Driver/dwl520+_drivers_307.zip) For the bug to be resolved I've collected a series of four, updated and verified, URLs that can be used to replace the broken one as equivalent alternatives: ftp://ftp2.dlink.com/PRODUCTS/DWL-520PLUS/REVA/DWL-520PLUS_DRIVER_3.07_WIN.ZIP ftp://ftp.dlink.eu/Products/dwl/dwl-520plus/driver_software/DWL-520plus_drv_revALL_307_ALL_en_031118.zip ftp://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/Wireless/DWL-520+/Drivers/AirPlus_b_Plus_Driver_v3.07.zip ftp://files.dlink.com.au/products/DWL-520+/REV_A/Drivers/v3.07/520+v3.07.zip The proposal is to update and modify the script to make use of all the new URLs as possible alternatives in case one of them fails.
