Previously I had only ALSA. The output was directed both to monitor (headphones) and speakers (line out). So I could for example switched off speakers and listen on monitor or headphones. When I wanted more power, I switched on speakers. Currently I use ALSA with pulseaudio plugins (it was in a way requested on this site that I do this) and this no longer works. Not only I have to switch on/off speakers, but each time I have to change the selection in pavucontrol (this was suggested as well). This is very annoying and waste of time. It is another regression in UX with OS 13.2.
