slow (4x) comparison openSUSE Leap 15 Wayland <-> openSUSE TW Wayland

Here's a comparison with openSUSE Leap 15, and Wayland in use. I finally have
four installations on two similar hw laptops to compare amongst.

The situation seems the same despite 15's older, less optimized GNOME. The
difference is obvious, with 15 having smooth animations and TW not.

Now that I have good test setups to play with, I'll be happy to test anything
that might improve the situation and report back. Currently I'm out of ideas to
try though.
