Indeed. 4.7 already had this problem. This is minor, because the info program correctly uses gcc-4.8.info.gz when invoked with 'info g++', because the gcc{-version}.info.gz file mentions it's responsible also for g++, so the info index (in /usr/share/info/dir) is correct. The g++ softlink should either not exist at all, or point to gcc-version.info.gz.
