Fcitx doesn't work out of box in KDE Wayland. To enable it, users have to manually edit /etc/environment and add some lines. Details are here https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Enable_input_method_in_Wayland So can we make it work out of box? If we have to ship the configuration in some package, I don't know which package and which file to add these lines. /etc/profile.d/ is not supported by KDE Wayland. /etc/environment is from pam package. But Fcitx is not related to PAM.
