I was able to execute mysql-workbench, it was a little bit tricky and I don't know exactly if this was the root of the problem. When I tried today to do a : zypper dup, the system said I had a dependency problem with libopenssl-devel. I had two versions of libopenssl devel installed: libopenssl-1_0_0-devel libopenssl-devel I removed first mysql-workbench, then both versions of libopenssl, then I make a zypper dup, and finally reinstalled mysql-workbench.
