Just for info : my audacity comes from repository http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/ After deleting and installing audacity just now : Yast indeed shows version (2.3.3-1.1) The binary is size & date are : # l /usr/bin/audacity -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 14965648 nov 26 18:05 /usr/bin/audacity* Running it with --version shows : Audacity v2.3.3-alpha-Nov 25 2019
